Jo Negrine Aiello heads up the boutique Interior Design service Eastside Interiors & Design, a division of Eastside Renovations.
As a professional photographer, shooting properties over many years definitely sparked Jo’s love of design. “For as long as I remember I have always had a passion for beautiful interiors.” Having some major design projects completed, Jo formalised her knowledge & experience by gaining accreditation with The Interior Design Institute.
Being a Mum of two, Jo particularly understands the needs of a busy family and the importance of utilising small spaces. Jo believes that the interiors of a home should not only look aesthetically beautiful but must also be functional and practical for the people living there.
As a team, Jo & Oreste (Director of Eastside Renovations Pty Ltd), can work with you through the design process, planning, project management and the decorating stage. Their passion is creating beautiful spaces particularly kitchens and bathrooms. Sourcing beautiful tiles and the latest products is a specific interest.

Bellevue Hill Kitchen
The client wanted to create a Hamptons style kitchen and utilise the space with a large kitchen island which was essential as they love to entertain at home.
They wanted to accommodate their family of 5 easily around the island bench.
Darling Point
A complete renovation was requested by this client for her young family of 6. Walls were knocked down to completely open up the space. A breakfast bench to seat the children was a must.
The main bathroom was opened up to create a double vanity and we also managed to fit in a European laundry. The ensuite was also reconfigured.
A light colour palate and brushed brass finishes were used throughout. A gas fireplace was also installed.
Queens Park
The brief for this project was to rebuild the small 2 bedroom, one bathroom property. This home was recreated into a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom residence. The home has a Hamptons, coastal vibe.
Bronte Bathroom
Our client wanted a refresh of their guest bathroom.
The bathroom was completely stripped out. New tiles, vanity and the bath/shower was replaced with a large shower.
Our client wanted to keep the existing marble on the vanity which we managed to do.
Bondi Terrace House
This architecturally designed terrace was a rebuild, with only the front room staying. The Victorian terrace was converted into a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home.
Graduate
Having a couple of major design projects completed, Jo formalised her knowledge & experience by gaining accreditation with The Interior Design Institute.
